Introducing:
Sol3 HDK

Test Machine Vision On Your Desk

HDK_ecosystem_V14.webp

Overview

The Sol3 HDK puts flight-like compute and sensor hardware in engineers’ hands early—accelerating integration and reducing surprises later in the program. Built as closely as possible to the flight units while avoiding the cost that comes with flight-grade parts, the Sol3 HDK lets you prototype, test, and move into IT&V with minimal software changes.

Features

Flight-like Hardware

The HDK is interface and functionally equivalent to the Sol3 Flight units. The primary difference between HDK and Flight hardware is the use of different connectors and the environmental qualification of some of the parts used.

Integrated Software

Sol3 flight software has everything you need to build a solution for your problem domain. Command cameras and stream imagery via the network API, or write a custom onboard application for direct access to heterogeneous compute and the imaging pipeline.

Sol3 SDK

Extensive Libraies

The SDK supports a modern Linux environment with C++17 and Python 3.x. It integrates with popular open-source projects such as Eigen, OpenCV, PyTorch, NumPy, Ceres Solver, GTSAM, and AprilTag.

Responsive Support

Our team is committed to keeping you moving forward. From detailed documentation and active GitHub issue tracking to direct communication, we’re here to answer questions, resolve issues, and help you get the most out of your Sol3 system.

Free for Evaluation

The Sol3 SDK is free to download and use for evaluation, non-commercial, and academic research. This open architecture approach invites universities, start ups, and established aerospace companies to explore the power of computer vision for space applications in their own labs.
